Clubs and Organizations

ACU encourages students to pursue their passions and develop their leadership capacity through involvement in on campus student organizations. Involvement in academic societies and clubs is a wonderful way to develop relationships with other students, grow your knowledge and experience in a particular area or field, and a great way to have fun in college!

Organizations and clubs can be started by any group of students seeking to make a positive impact on campus and build community.

Current Clubs and Organizations:

ACU Students for Life – ACU Students for Life is associated with the national organization “Students for Life” which is one of the leading pro-life advocacy organizations in the world. ACU Students for Life

Archery Club – The Archery Club exists for students to get together and practice the sport of Archery. The Archery Club gets together a few times every month at the Arizona Archery Club.

Biology and Pre-Med Club – The Biology and Pre-Med Club works in collaboration with ACU’s Biology department to further enhance the learning opportunities that students have by offering a monthly seminar on a topic relating to biology or medical studies.

Brew Buddies – Brew Buddies works in collaboration with the Campus Activities Board to provide themed drinks for various events throughout the year (all drinks are non-alcoholic).

Campus Activities Board (CAB) – The Campus Activities Board exists to help Student Development plan and execute weekly events, traditions, and Welcome Week events.

Campus Recreation – Campus Recreation exists to promote physical wellness by hosting Intramural sports throughout the year. Intramurals happen once a week on Tuesday nights.

Chess Club – The Chess Club gets together each week to play the great game of Chess.

Christian Challenge – Christian Challenge is associated with the organization “Christian Challenge AZ”. Christian Challenge exists to engage college students with the gospel, develop disciples of Jesus Christ, mobilize servant leaders for the church, and send missionaries to the
world. The Christian Challenge ACU Chapter meets as a group once a week and has multiple Bible studies throughout the week.

Conversations Cover to Cover – Conversations Cover to Cover is a ladies-only book club where they go through a different book each semester

Country Dancing Club – The Country Dancing Club gets together once a week to learn line dance, square dance, and any other form of country dancing.

Created to Create “Art Club”; – Created to Create is ACU’s Art Club that gets together once a week to draw, paint, sketch, fellowship, and more!

Creation Club – Creation Club works in collaboration with ACU’s Biology department and AZOSA to further enhance students’ learning opportunities by offering a monthly seminar on a different topic relating to the Biblical worldview of Creation.

Firestorm Disc Golf Club – The Firestorm Disc Golf Club exists for students to play disc golf. ACU has a 9-hole course on campus!

First Generation Club – The First Generation Club exists to support first-generation students at ACU.

Health & Fitness Club – Health & Fitness Club hosts various fitness-related classes in the Firestorm Recreation Center for ACU students.

IMPACT Club – IMPACT Club is a student chapter of the organization “Christian Educators” that seeks to support, connect, and protect Christians working in our schools.

Life Groups – As a part of the Spiritual Life team, we have 12 student leaders, male and female, who lead weekly Bible studies on campus at various times throughout the week.

Pickleball Club – The Pickleball Club exists for students to play the great game of Pickleball. They meet three times a week at the Pickleball Space.

Pre-Law Society – The Pre-Law Society works in collaboration with our Political Science Department to further enhance the learning opportunities for students who desire to go to law school or work in law enforcement.

Ratio Christi – Ratio Christi is a national organization that equips students with the tools and skills to defend their faith and share it with others. The ACU Chapter meets weekly to learn effective ways of apologetics and evangelism.

Ring of Fire – Ring of Fire is ACU’s student section at athletic events.

Rocky Road Running – Rocky Road Running is a running club that meets once a week to encourage physical fitness and living a healthy life.

Soccer Club – The Soccer Club exists for students to play the great game of Soccer. They meet once a week.

Stronghold Media – Stronghold Media is ACU’s journalism club where students write articles, practice photography, and help produce videos for Chapel announcements.

The Gathering: ACU Women – The Gathering is a disciple group for ladies at ACU that is inspired by the IF:Gathering conference that happens each year.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) – Turning Point USA is a national organization that advocates for conservative politics. The ACU Chapter gets together to discuss politics, celebrate Constitution Day, and has even held mock debates.

Ultimate Frisbee Organization – The Ultimate Frisbee Organization exists for students to play the great game of Ultimate Frisbee. They meet once a week.

Volleyball Club – Volleyball Club exists for students to play the great game of Volleyball. They meet once a week.

YoungLife – YoungLife is a national organization that helps students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve Him. The ACU Chapter gets together once a week to do just that.
