Grants

Federal pell grants are awarded to undergraduate students. Unlike a loan, they do not have to be paid back to the government.

Federal Pell Grant

This program provides need-based grants to eligible undergraduates. Financial need is determined by the Department of Education using a standard formula. Students must apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA at www.FAFSA.ed.gov.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

This program provides need-based grants to eligible undergraduates. At Arizona Christian University eligible students can receive up to $1,000 a year based on PELL Grant eligibility and demonstration of need. To qualify students must apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA at www.FAFSA.ed.gov.

Federal TEACH Grant

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides up to $4,000 per year in grants for undergraduate students who intend to teach full-time in high-need subject areas for at least four years at schools that serve students from low-income families. Students may receive up to $16,000 for undergraduate study. Part-time students are eligible, but the maximum grant will be reduced.
