Grants

Federal pell grants are awarded to undergraduate students. Unlike a loan, they do not have to be paid back to the government.

Federal Pell Grant

This program provides need-based grants to eligible undergraduates. Financial need is determined by the Department of Education using a standard formula. Students must apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

This program provides need-based grants to eligible undergraduates. At Arizona Christian University eligible students can receive up to $1,000 a year based on PELL Grant eligibility and demonstration of need. To qualify students must apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.

Federal TEACH Grant

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides up to $4,000 per year in grants for undergraduate students who intend to teach full-time in high-need subject areas for at least four years at schools that serve students from low-income families. Students may receive up to $16,000 for undergraduate study. Part-time students are eligible, but the maximum grant will be reduced.
