George Barna
Director of Research, Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University
George Barna is the Director of Research and cofounder of the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University. He is also an ACU professor, focusing on worldview assessment and development, and cultural transformation. He was the founder and leader of the Barna Group, a research company that has set the standard for understanding trends in American culture. In addition, he has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level, and has pastored two churches. Barna has written 60 books, including numerous award-winners and New York Times bestsellers. His most recent book is, Raising Spiritual Champions: Nurturing Your Child’s Heart, Mind and Soul (Arizona Christian University Press, 2023).
Dr. Christina Crenshaw
Dr. Christina Crenshaw is an Assistant Professor at Arizona Christian University and a Fellow Cultural Research Center. She holds a Ph.D. in Education with emphasis in English from Baylor University, a Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies with emphasis in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary, and an undergraduate degree in English and Secondary Education from Texas A&M University. She also earned a Biblical Counseling certification from Southwestern Seminary.
Her teaching experience spans faculty positions at California Baptist University and Baylor University, where she taught courses in faith and writing, Christian leadership, spiritual formation, human trafficking prevention, and teacher education. She has also served in leadership roles as an Associate at The Hendricks Center at Dallas Seminary and Fellow at The Land Center at Southwestern Seminary, and an Advisor for state and federal human trafficking prevention organizations.
Dr. Crenshaw contributes to cultural apologetics, church engagement, and biblical justice through podcasts, webinars, articles, and conferences. She has a particular interest in discipling Gen Z. Her book Redeeming Justice: Doing Good for God’s Glory will be published by Harvest House in February 2026. Outside of her professional experiences, she most enjoys spending time with her husband and tween boys.
Dr. Adam Rasmussen
Dr. Adam Rasmussen is a fellow at the Cultural Research Center and the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Arizona Christian University. Adam seeks to help others flourish under the Lordship of Christ in all of life as they make important connections between faith, reason, and culture. Spending three decades in Christian education, Dr. Rasmussen has taught on a variety of topics including biblical literacy, apologetics, and worldview formation. In his courses, students learn how to develop their own moral philosophy, so they are inspired to implement significant change in their sphere of influence. They are encouraged to “transform culture with truth.”
Dr. Tracy Munsil
Executive Director, Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University
Dr. Tracy Munsil is the Executive Director of the Cultural Research Center and is Associate Professor of Political Science at Arizona Christian University. She is also the Publisher of Arizona Christian University Press, the book-publishing entity of Arizona Christian University. Dr. Munsil chaired the collaborative process to develop the ACU CORE liberal arts curriculum, and was instrumental in creating and teaching political science and Humanities courses at ACU. She was appointed by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey to the Commission on Appellate Court Appointments and served as Chair of the Board of Directors for Voices for the Voiceless, a next-generation prolife organization based in Phoenix. Dr. Munsil was a full-time lecturer in the Arizona State University School of Politics and Global Studies. Her doctorate was her third degree from ASU, after earning both a political science master’s and a bachelor’s degree in journalism. At ASU she met her husband, ACU President Len Munsil. Dr. Munsil home-educated their eight children for 14 years and now enjoys her 20 grandchildren.
