EBSCO’s eBook Collection database includes nearly 190,000 eBooks on a wide range of subjects. About 20,000 of these eBooks can also be found through the library’s online catalog. The rest come from EBSCO’s eBook Academic Collection database.

Its library catalog makes it easy to search by title, author, subject, ISBN/ISSN, publisher, or series title — a great advantage over some other digital libraries listed on this page. Full-text searching is also possible. Find primary documents, public-domain works, and even some copyrighted works (most notably, scholarly eBooks from university presses).
The Internet Archive and Open Library offers over 8.1 million eBooks in public domain (i.e., not copyrighted).
The first eBook library, Project Gutenberg now has over 49,000 high-quality eBooks that can be downloaded or read online. Classic literature and a wide range of subjects can be found here.
