Provisional Plan and Teach-Out Agreement.

ACU’s withdrawal from the State Authorization and Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) is effective as of September 30, 2024. As a consequence of its withdrawal from SARA, ACU will discontinue offering online education in several states. ACU has developed a provisional plan and entered into a teach-out agreement with Houston Christian University to serve current ACU students affected by online program closures in states where ACU is not authorized to offer distance education. NOTE: The provisional plan and teach-out agreement are currently being reviewed by the Higher Learning Commission. The plan and agreement do not take effect until officially approved the the HLC.
