Kenneth Copeland Bible College Equivalency Credit

ACU Credit Policy 2023-2024

The University has a signed MOU with Kenneth Copeland Bible College (KCBC) to transfer in courses from KCBC on a limited basis. ACU acknowledges that while KCBC is not an institutionally accredited institution, it is an institution that aligns with ACU’s mission and statement of faith. It is the responsibility of the student to determine if such transfer courses will be acceptable for graduate programs or any other past-baccalaureate programs to which the student intends to apply.

Below is the course mapping for classes that are approved to transfer in for ACU courses from Kenneth Copeland Bible College. Please note that any classes not on this list will be transferred in as general electives.

ACU will accept KCBC transfer credits towards lower division Bible Minor and Humanities classes, regardless of the major chosen (including Biblical Studies and Christian Ministries majors). ACU may apply transfer credit to the following general education and Bible course requirements:

  • HUM 201 The Human Narrative I
  • HUM 202 The Human Narrative II
  • BIB 100 Introduction to the Bible and Biblical Interpretation
  • BIB 221 The Relational God -A Study of the Divine Covenants
  • BIB 222 Image Bearers – Humanity’s Story

If the applied transfer classes are Bible classes from KCBC, then the student will qualify for the Bible Minor at ACU.
