AP Credit Policies & Equivalency Sheet 2025-2026
High school graduates who scored 4 to 5 on the Advanced Placement examinations of the College Entrance Examination Board are given credit for the corresponding college courses. Students who scored a 3 may be given advanced placement or credit, subject to the approval of the Registrar. No advanced placement is given for scores of 1 or 2.

Transfer Credit Process
- When adding a transfer credit, use the abbreviation of the subject, for example “HIS” (see example below under Stormin’ Normin’). You do not need to add AP before “HIS”.
- Put the credit in a bucket rather than one for one.
- One for one transfer includes: General Education CORE, General Biblical and Theological Studies Curriculum, Academic Major Block, and any Concentration Block.
- Bucket transfers include General Electives, Academic Major Electives, Biblical and Theological Studies Upper Division Bible Electives, and General Education CORE languages as supplied.
- When adding a language transfer credit, please make sure the course number is the name of the language, such as “FRENCH”, and the name of the course is the level of proficiency, such as “French Language Level 2 Proficiency” (see example below under Stormin’ Normin’).
