Transfer Credit Process

  • When adding a transfer credit, use the abbreviation of the subject, for example “HIS” (see example below under Stormin’ Normin’). You do not need to add AP before “HIS”.
  • Put the credit in a bucket rather than one for one.
  • One for one transfer includes: General Education CORE, General Biblical and Theological Studies Curriculum, Academic Major Block, and any Concentration Block.
  • Bucket transfers include General Electives, Academic Major Electives, Biblical and Theological Studies Upper Division Bible Electives, and General Education CORE languages as supplied.

  • When adding a language transfer credit, please make sure the course number is the name of the language, such as “FRENCH”, and the name of the course is the level of proficiency, such as “French Language Level 2 Proficiency” (see example below under Stormin’ Normin’).
