Bachelors in Music


The Bachelor of Science in Music is designed to equip you for advanced studies in music and help you grow in your God-given talent. You will gain a strong foundation in Music Theory, Music History, Conducting, Ensemble Performance, and focused study of Primary Instrument. The program will prepare you for graduate school, teaching, ministry, and other professional careers.

The Music program provides a biblical liberal arts foundation with an innovative approach to general studies that reclaims a Christian conception of the Liberal Arts, preparing students to be influential thinkers. Career-related focus areas will include:

  • Music elective classes including Music based Technology, Composition and Orchestration, Worship Music, and Music

Academic Major Courses

Core requirements accumulate to 30 credits, 15 credits of General Biblical and Theological Studies courses and 8 credits of foreign language courses. 3 credits of Upper Division Biblical and Theological Studies electives are required. Other major required courses are Applied Lessons (8 credits), Music – Chorale (4 credits) and Music – Conducting (3 credits).
