ADE (Arizona Department of Education) approved!	2.5+ GPA in CORE/General courses (“C” or higher in ENG 101/102) and 3.0+ in education/highly qualified courses (2.0+ grade minimum) *This is to be met and maintained to graduate with an IR.	Receive IR (Institutional Recommendation) to get certified in AZ! Save money! Easier certification process.
*Certified* by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International)!	Complete Bible and Spiritual Formation plus ADE requirements.	Receiving ACSI certification gives you opportunities to teach at Christian schools all over the country - and internationally!
*Professional walk-through* of the fingerprinting process and other required forms.	Review and submit forms: IVP Fingerprint card *This is to be met at the beginning of the program Application to Department Student Teaching Forms	Eliminate confusion, duplication, and late applications.
Guidance in designing a *personalized course schedule*.	Complete all education courses prior to student teaching. *See program checksheet and consult w/EMS or department to ensure proper course sequence.	Individualized support from our department chair, professors, staff. YOU choose whether to student teach in fall or spring (for example, if you play a spring sport, you can student teach in the fall!)
An *experienced supervising professor* oversees your student teaching.	Complete student teaching and pass the Arizona Professional Knowledge Exam. *This is to be met senior year.	Your mentor teacher is chosen from YOUR grade/subject preferences and is overseen by our ACU supervising professor.
