Professor Campbell began teaching at ACU in 2014 and for several years taught law related classes such as Constitutional Law, Media Law and Business Law. During this time he also continued his law practice at Lewis Roca Rothgerber and Christie where he focused on government regulation of economic activities. He retired from the practice of law in 2019 and joined ACU as a full-time faculty member. He is also serving as Acting Department Chair. He has expanded his teaching duties to include classes related to economic freedom and religious liberty. He has been married to Barbara Campbell for 45 years and has four children and 11 grandchildren. He lives in downtown Phoenix, where he worked for many years and is an active member of Roosevelt Community Church.
