Beginning in September of 2024, ACU designated a full-time Manager of Career Services to develop a thriving Career Services Department. ACU leadership recognized that as the University grows, it needs to continue improving services to students such as one-on-one career coaching, career events, resume reviews, in-class presentations and more. The ACU Career Services Department empowers and equips students with practical resources and services to explore, plan, and launch a successful career that honors God and serves their community. From September 2024 to May of 2025, the Career Services Department has seen the following improvements:

  • At least 60 one-on-one Career Coaching appointments in the Spring of 2025, a 71% increase from the Fall of 2024.
  • A total of 29 in-class presentations in the Spring of 2025 reaching approximately 500 students or 53% of the campus undergraduate student population.
  • 73 employers/graduate programs attended the Spring 2025 Career Week, a 143% increase from the Fall Career Fair.
  • 12 Tabling Events featuring employers on campus, double from the Fall semester
  • About 50 free, professional headshots provided to students.
  • About 170 students attended Career Week.

Starting this Fall, we have officially opened the first Career Center on campus! The Career Center is a designated space for students to receive one-on-one career coaching, resume’ reviews, and continuing professional development. It also houses the first ever Career Closet where students can receive free professional clothing for job interviews and internships. The clothing is donated from the community and students can keep all items free of charge.
