Graduation 2025:
A Milestone Evening Marked by Legacy and New Beginnings
Graduation 2025 was a truly unforgettable evening at Arizona Christian University, crowned by a stunning Arizona sunset as graduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas. Surrounded by a crowd of 3,000, including proud family members, supportive friends, devoted faculty and staff, and members of the Board of Trustees, this celebration marked the culmination of years of dedication, growth, and spiritual formation. The ceremony honored the accomplishments of an exceptional class prepared and eager to thrive in the next chapter of their lives.
This year’s commencement ceremony was particularly notable for several historic firsts. ACU celebrated its largest graduating class in university history, with 278 students receiving their degrees. In another exciting milestone, representing a new era of academic advancement and leadership development at ACU, we honored our first-ever cohort of graduate students, who received master’s degrees in Education and Christian Leadership.
In 2026, ACU looks forward to celebrating its first cohort of M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy graduates.
One of the core missions of Arizona Christian University is to equip students with a strong biblical worldview. Approximately five years ago, the university began tracking students’ worldview development using an assessment tool created by the Cultural Research Center (CRC) at Arizona Christian University, under the direction of renowned researcher George Barna. This year’s graduating class represents the first group of students who have taken this biblical worldview inventory consistently from their freshman through senior years. The results are deeply encouraging and reflect meaningful growth in understanding and applying biblical principles. These outcomes affirm our mission and inspire confidence that these graduates are well prepared to go out and transform culture with biblical truth.
In addition to sending off our graduates, we are also excited to welcome many back to pursue master’s degrees, continuing their academic and spiritual journey on campus. Others have joined the university in various professional roles, including positions in enrollment, residence life, coaching, and student development. Their continued presence at ACU is a testament to the strength of our community and the commitment of our alumni to invest back into the mission of the university.
As we bid farewell to our graduates, we do so with immense pride and heartfelt prayers. We ask the Lord to guide them through life’s challenges and to use them as a light in their communities—a voice of hope and truth to their generation.
To our newest alumni: CONGRATULATIONS, and welcome to the Firestorm Alumni Family! We look forward to seeing you back on campus—whether for chapel, a concert, a theater performance, or cheering on the Firestorm at a home game. And don’t forget to mark your calendar for the Alumni Lunch at Homecoming on Saturday, November 15. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again!
