Best-selling author, speaker and researcher Dr. George Barna will be the speaker at Arizona Christian University’s 62nd Commencement exercises on Friday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. on the ACU football field.
ACU, the 9th-fastest growing university in America during the past decade, will celebrate nearly 200 graduates in front of about 2,500 family, friends, faculty and staff.
George Barna is the Director of Research and co-founder of the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University. He is also an ACU professor, focusing on worldview assessment and development, and cultural transformation. He was the founder and leader of the Barna Group, a research company that has set the standard for understanding trends in American culture.
In addition, Barna serves as Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Council. He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level and has pastored two churches. Barna has written 60 books, including numerous award-winners and New York Times bestsellers. His most recent book is Raising Spiritual Champions: Nurturing Your Child’s Heart, Mind and Soul (Arizona Christian University Press, 2023; with Fedd Books).
