Arizona Christian University Head Football Coach Jeff Bowen has been named recipient of the 2021 NAIA Coach of Character Award. Bowen will be recognized in person at the NAIA National Convention in April 2022 in Kansas City, MO.

The NAIA Coach of Character Award is presented annually to one NAIA head coach nationwide who is dedicated to teaching character through sport. There is an intense vetting and voting process, and Coach Bowen was selected as the coach recipient for the entire country in the NAIA! Coach Bowen becomes the 18th recipient of this prestigious award.

“I have served in collegiate athletics for 17 years and I have never experienced a coach or program do more to develop the entire person than Coach Bowen,” stated ACU Transformational Coach Randy Chambers. “One of the taglines of the football team is “Changed Men Change the World,” and Coach Bowen creates an unwavering system to support it. Young men’s lives and futures are being transformed through Coach Bowen’s leadership.”
