The National Religious Broadcasters announced Thursday the winners of the 2015 NRB Media Awards. Arizona Christian University’s radio station, Arizona Shine, received the Radio Station of the Year award. This award recognizes that Arizona Shine is an innovative, locally focused radio station that has made a significant difference for Christ over the last year.
These awards recognize this year’s most outstanding ministries, facilities, and programs/producers in the world’s preeminent association of Christian broadcasters and communicators. These awards are designed to encourage excellence in production service to the community, faithfulness to the mission, commitment to the Gospel, and personal integrity.
“This award represents the pinnacle of Christian media,” said Arizona Shine Station Manager Sally Barton. “Proverbs 22:1, ‘A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.’ To be recognized by The National Religious Broadcasters as effective in encouraging believers in their faith and introducing people to Jesus through this mighty microphone is God’s gift to His Arizona Shine and Arizona Christian University family. To our listening supportive family, this recognition is because of you. For including Arizona Shine in your days and nights for your love, and prayers, thank you!”
All award recipients will be presented their awards during the NRB 2015 International Christian Media Convention, which will take place February 23-26, 2015 in Nashville, TN.
