How to Apply

Complete Application

Complete and submit your official online application for admission which includes the required essay.

Submit a non-refundable $25 application fee

When you submit your online application, you will submit your application fee through the online portal.

Submit Official Transcripts

Submit all previous college credits/degrees earned prior to application to ACU. If no prior college, applicants must submit official high school transcripts or GED scores. Mail official transcripts to the address below:

Official transcripts may be sent electronically to [email protected]. Only electronic transcripts submitted directly from the University’s Registrar will be considered “official”.

Confirmation

Confirm with your Recruiter/EMS that your official transcript has been received and complete any additional financial aid documents required.

Admissions Requirements

All Students
  • The student must be an evangelical believer in the Christian faith – this will be articulated in the personal essay of the application. You will explain why you believe attending ACU will prepare you as a Christian to transform form culture with the truth of God’s word.
First-Time Freshmen
  • High school graduates with unweighted GPA of 2.0 or higher, a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher or GED
Transfer student must:
  • College GPA of 3.0 or higher

ACU uses an online application to evaluate for admission.

HOW LONG IS EACH COURSE?
Each course is 8 weeks long.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT CREDITS WILL TRANSFER?

Speak with your Enrollment Management Specialist. They will review your transcript evaluation and ensure you’re on track to complete. 

HOW DO I PROVIDE MY OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS?

Once you submit your application, your Enrollment Management Specialist will help you with the official request process.

IS THE FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) REQUIRED?
Yes, this application determines your eligibility for federal grants and loans as well as need-based institutional aid. Be sure to list ACU (code 007113) on the FAFSA when prompted.
