Dr. Nanci Smith is joining ACU as an associate professor of mathematics after years of educational consulting with schools and districts across the nation and around the world. Smith has been a mathematics teacher at the high school and collegiate levels, as well as having developed an NSF research-based series on middle school mathematics. She has given interviews for publications and NPR and has been a featured and invited speaker for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics national conference and numerous other conferences in the United States and internationally.
