Arizona Christian University is excited to announce a new partnership with Saints Bible Institute (SBI) in San Lorenzo, Italy, offering a twelve-week travel study program to current ACU students beginning Fall 2018. Students can embrace their sense of adventure with this unique opportunity to spend a semester abroad experiencing personal discipleship, missions training, and cultural interaction within a community of students, faculty, and missionaries. Through the program, students will reside and study in San Lorenzo, gain new cultural perspectives, strengthen their Christian faith, and grow in their relationship with Christ.

“At ACU we want as many students as possible to have a global educational experience. We are particularly excited about this partnership because both the mission of ACU and that of SBI are aligned to make a significant cultural impact for the Kingdom,” said Dr. Jared Black, Dean of Students.

The ACU approved Saints Bible Institute curriculum is built to prepare students for a lifetime of dedication to missions. All credits received will count towards course requirements for graduation from Arizona Christian University. Founded in 2002, SBI offers a unique learning environment outside of the traditional classroom including tours of Rome, Venice, and Florence, along with missions training, church planting, and intensive learning.

“This is a fantastic new opportunity available to all students,” said President Len Munsil. “We know study abroad options are high on the list of priorities for many students, and believe this unique opportunity to go to Italy for a semester will be very popular at ACU.”

ACU students who are second semester sophomores, juniors, and first semester seniors are eligible to apply. Students must also be enrolled full-time and in good academic, financial, and conduct standing.
