Arizona Christian University is excited to announce that one of Arizona’s leading megachurch pastors — Scottsdale Bible Church Senior Pastor Jamie Rasmussen — will speak at ACU’s 2015 Commencement Ceremony May 23.

ACU’s 53rd Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 23 at Bethany Bible Church, 6060 N. 7th Avenue in Phoenix.

Pastor Jamie Rasmussen has served as the Senior Pastor of Scottsdale Bible Church since the fall of 2007. In addition to leading Scottsdale Bible, Jamie serves as the Chairman of the Board for United Pastors of Arizona. This group of large-church pastors promotes and proclaims the Gospel by displaying relational and missional unity among Arizona pastors and their churches. Jamie also serves on the Board of the Forum of Christian Leaders, which exists to teach, equip, and encourage Christian leaders in the United States and around the world. He is a graduate of Hillsdale College and earned his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He also serves on the Board of Phoenix Seminary.

“Pastor Jamie Rasmussen is one of the most respected large-church pastors in America,” said ACU President Len Munsil. “He is also a huge supporter of Christian higher education in general, and ACU in particular, and his friendship and support have been a big encouragement to me the past few years.”

Jamie is married to his wife, Kim, and together they have three adult children: Hannah, Abby, and Paul. Abby Rasmussen will be graduating with her bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona Christian University at this 2015 Commencement ceremony.
